The Board of Governors of The Summit Club wishes to maintain a comfortable and welcoming facility for members and guests. Members and their guests are asked to be respectful of others and observe a reasonable standard of dress. The new dress code rules below take effect on July 1, 2020.
Penthouse Bar and Dining Room (32nd Floor)
Traditional Business or Business Casual attire are appropriate. Jeans are only acceptable if member is wearing a sport coat or blazer. If a member, or guest, does not have on a blazer or sports coat the club may provide one, if one is available. Any member that finds that they are not dressed appropriately for the Penthouse is welcome at THIRTYONE Kitchen.
Unacceptable Attire for Penthouse Bar and Dining Room (32nd Floor)
Flip-flops, hats, t-shirts, shorts, and athletic attire. Any inappropriate attire that is in poor taste.
THIRTYONE Kitchen, Bar, and Cigar Room (31st Floor)
Traditional Business, Business Casual and Club Casual attire are all appropriate.
Unacceptable attire for TH1RTYONE Kitchen, Bar, and Cigar Room (31st Floor)
Flip flops, hats, athletic attire. Any inappropriate attire that is in poor taste.
Business Casual Definition
Men: Slacks or khakis. Collared shirts, including dress polo style. Closed toe shoes.
Women: Suits, dresses, skirts, dress shorts. Pants and jeans. Blouse/shirt or sweater. Open or closed toe shoes, mules, loafers and dressy sandals.
Club Casual Definition
Men: Jeans, Khakis, Dress Shorts, and any style of collared shirt. Non-collared shirts with no large print or graphics are allowed.
Women: Jeans and Shorts are acceptable.
It is the member’s responsibility to communicate to their guests the Summit's Dress Code. The dress code is enforced by Club Management on behalf of the Board of Governors, those who do not comply with the stated dress code may be asked to leave the club. The Dress Code may be amended for specific Club Events as published in the newsletter.
